Anne Sexton was a complex woman with many layers to her soul. Born on November 9th, 1928 and dying on October 4th,
1974, she lived a short life that was cut short by suicide.
In her short life, Anne was married and divorced and had two children. She received the Pulitzer Prize among other
honors and wrote as a form of therapy.
